With the support of the Spanish Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Achievement Fund, UNESCO has played an active role in working with other UN Agencies in South East Europe to help those countries accelerate their achievement of the MDGs by 2015.
In cooperation with 5 other UN Agencies, 6 different joint programmes in 4 different countries have contributed to achieving MDGs 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8. Success stories from each of the joint programmes are presented.
