This is an awareness promotion film for conserving medicinal plants and associated traditional and cultural knowledge of indigenous people, produced by Mike Pandey of River Bank Studio for UNESCO, was screened at the UNDP Conference Hall on April 5, 2001. This is the first of a series of films on medicinal plants - an ancient heritage of India that was on the verge of extinction.

Today, India's systems of healing have been revived by a surge of interest worldwide.
