A selection of community radio scripts to inspire production on social development issues

More than 30 young people representing three community radio stations were selected to participate in this pilot project. The young trainees were aged 16 - 26 years and came from disadvantaged backgrounds or were holding permanent residence status in South Africa. Each participating community
was required to nominate a mentor or facilitator to take on coordination responsibilities. The mentors/facilitators jointly managed training sessions with the trainers and met with the participants twice a week.
