In less than a century, development has globalized the world, placing its cultures in positions which are all at once unsettling and stimulating.

To share a development that is mindful of the planet's needs and potentialities, humanity must break out of a predatory growth cycle and recommit to a plural approach in which cultural diversity comes into play as a wager of success.

The inter sectoral exhibition on "Cultures and Developments" explored the extend to which culture and cultures can be decisive to the quality and sustainability of development in eight essential areas, as represented by the eight 6 minutes films on this DVD, which are:

- Creating cities
- Living with change
- Cultivating water
- Lets talk ** (shown above)
- The healing power of culture
- Education and cultures: the African path
- Meeting people and sharing heritage
- When culture talk to business
