UN Secretary-General's Scientific Advisory Board
The board, first announced in October 2013, consists of 26 scientists from around the globe. "This Board represents some of the world's best scientific competence," the Secretary General said at the inauguration ceremony on 30 January 2014 in Berlin. "It will provide indispensable advice on the interface between science and policy for sustainable development."
