Six short video clips invented by pupils and students from Costa Rica, Indonesia, Italy, Lebanon, Thailand and Uganda, selected from over 300 contributions from 20 countries around the world to an international cartoon contest “Ciak Cartoons 2000”.

This contest was launched within the framework of the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) in close collaboration with Ciak Junior School in Italy and the International Council for Film, Television and Audiovisual Communications (IFTC). It was organized in observance of the International Year for the Culture of Peace. Each cartoon conveys a message on a different issue related to peace."
