Recent events in Egypt have prompted national and global attention towards the pivotal role of youth in political and socio-economic transformations in the region, where the concept of democracy itself is at a moment of evolution

This seminar on ethics and democracy provided a platform for exchange of information amongst youth from diverse backgrounds, interests and affiliations. Participants joined from NGO's, newly established political parties, development and social workers and independent activists. It took place in Cairo on 9 June 2011.
