Nias Island was among the areas that were struck by the Indian Ocean Tsunami on December 26, 2004. It also experienced a major earthquake of magnitude 8.7 on March 28, 2005.
This film retraces the remarkable journey of Nurhayat Fau, a 63-year-old woman who is known by the community as Ina Tulo, in raising community disaster preparedness and awareness in Lagundri Village, Teluk Dalam Regency, South Nias Sub-District.
