Three stories from the streets of Dakar: Mamadou, a runaway kid in a gang, always hungry and afraid of the police. Souleymane, a shoeshine boy, exiled to Dakar by the drought that has hit his village. Modou, a child beggar, exploited in the name of religion. They all learn for their right to education.
