Non formal education

In Kenya, a different kind of instruction called "English in action" has proved to be a powerful strategy for ensuring quality education for large numbers. During 30 interactive minutes a day, the radio is teaching English in the project primary schools. The method was conceived by the USAID bureau for science and technology and could be applied to any subject in the core curriculum.
