Help on Frames
Q: How do I print a press release!?
A: Take these two steps:
- Mouse click anywhere on the frame you wish to print.
- Go to browser's menu bar and mouse click File/Print Frame (for Netscape Navigator) or File/Print on any other frame-enabled browser (for Microsoft, Oracle etc.)
Note: Ignore this if you use a non-frame-enabled browser like NCSA Mosaic 2.0.
Q: How do I navigate between frames?
A: It depends on the version of your browser:
- For 3.0 or later versions of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft IE, just mouse click the Back or Forward buttons on your browser's menu bar.
- For Netscape Navigator 2.0, (1) mouse click (right button) anywhere inside the frame and choose "back in frame" option from the pop-up menu; or (2) just reclick the month from the left frame.
Q: How can I enlarge a frame's viewing area?
A: Do these two things:
- Move your mouse pointer to the edge of the frame's scroll bar
- Click and drag the frame to adjust its size
Q: Why can't I view frames?
A: You can if you want:
You can download Microsoft Internet Explore 3.0 or Netscape Navigator 2.0 or later versions of either browser.
Downloads are intolerably slow during the I-way's several "rush hours."
The ideal download time is between morning and early afternoon GMT, more or less.
Don't forget you can (1) continue browsing other sites even while a file is downloading or (2) use Alt + Tab to return to your Windows PC desktep.
