The Division of Programme Planning, Monitoring and Reporting

This Division of the Bureau of Strategic Planning, (BSP/PMR), prepares the Organization's Medium-Term Strategy (Click here to see a PowerPoint presentation on the Medium-Term Strategy)-- making pertinent revisions to it on a rolling basis --, and the biennial Programme and Budget.  PMR also ensures and monitors the rational programming and execution of a results-based programme and its implementation, including through an expanded SISTER mechanism.

BSP/PMR also serves as focal point within UNESCO and develops strategies for cross-cutting issues and themes, as appropriate, as well as inter-agency coordination.
