Young people are the most concerned about the way the world's environment is being destroyed. Through seminars and work projects, the organisations raise the awareness of young people of the threats posed to the environment in the 21st Century.

At the same time, they propose concrete alternatives for activities and pedagogical tools to disseminate the information. Each year, many of the CCIVS member organisations are involved in working to protect the environment and to promote education and environmental matters.

An environmental Festival "Festambiente Giovani" is organised regularly to raise the awareness of young people about environmental issues (Legambiente - Italy) .

Volunteers protected certain turtle and crocodile species in Mexico (Vimex - Mexico).
Volunteers raised barriers and planted grass to prevent from the advancement of the Gobi desert in China (ACYF - China).
