CCIVS in Asia

Zone de Texte: CCIVS gathers 16 national member organisations and 26 branches of international organisations.

They are present in 21 countries, in all regions of Asia, including the Middle East.

In Asia, the Network for Voluntary Development in Asia (NVDA) coordinates the voluntary service organisations in the region. The international networking NGO was founded in 1997 by 11 organisations in 11 nations in order to promote international voluntary service in Asia / Pacific. Its aims and goals are to:

* Improve local and global situations in nature, environment, culture, poverty and human rights,
* Support local NGOs, self-reliance and human development of local communities,
* Promote friendship, understanding and solidarity among world youth and local people.
