Following the drawing of lots at the 8th meeting of the Nominations Committee, on 11 November 1999, the term of office of the Member States indicated by an asterisk expires at the end of the 31st session of the General Conference.

The members of the Intergovernmental Committee are elected by the General Conference, and their term of office shall extend from the end of the ordinary session of the General Conference during which they are elected until the end of its second subsequent ordinary session.
