The Headquarters Committee consists of 25 members. The Committee
elects its own Chairperson.

Functions
of the Committee |

- The Committee shall meet whenever necessary, at the request of the Director-General
or on the initiative of its Chairperson, to advise the Director-General on all questions
relating to the Organization’s Headquarters submitted by the Director-General or by a
member of the Committee, and to provide the Director-General with advice, suggestions,
guidance and recommendations in this connection.
- The Committee shall report to the General Conference on the work carried out and the
programme to be planned for the future.
