| A seven-day conference and training
seminar for African young leaders and representatives of non-governmental organisations
(NGOs), aiming to build a network of African youth organisations/individuals. The
objective of the network is to link up and strengthen the role of its members in the
fields of peace-building, conflict prevention, resolution and reconciliation. The conference relies on a strong training element, in which traditional African methods for reconciliation and conflict resolution will be analysed and reappraised. Target group: Approximately 100 African NGO youth leaders active in the fields of peace building, reconciliation, and human rights; young journalists; concerned students in relevant fields; refugees involved in humanitarian work. All of them within the age frame of 17-30. |
