This slide shows Coconut Beach on the northwest coast of Dominica, before the 1995 hurricanes.  There used to be a road behind the beach, which led to a small hotel and a jetty.

Four months after the 1995 hurricanes, the jetty and the beach had gone and the road was now virtually in the sea.
