Slide 57: An inland quarry, Nevis

In order to reduce beach and dune mining, alternative sand sources must be provided.  This slide shows a quarry in Nevis where one of the by-products of the quarry operation is crusher dust or quarry dust, this can be used as an alternative to sand for most construction purposes.
