The Republic of Sierra Leone
Two specialists from Sierra Leone completed monitoring of coastal erosion processes along the country’s coastline; a summary report was published by the UNESCO-Dakar Office (1996). A scientist attended a regional conference on ‘Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development’ in Dakar, Senegal in October 1996.
