UNESCO documents 15 years of efforts for coasts and small islands

 

A document entitled ‘UNESCO on Coastal Regions and Small Islands’ has just been published by CSI. It offers the reader a compilation of several hundred titles of works, published either by UNESCO or other publishers during the period 1980-1995, that contribute to broadening our understanding of coastal region and small island problems and possible solutions. It is the result of a survey of the relevant contributions that UNESCO has made through the activities of its various sectors and programmes.

This small volume (21 pages, A4 format), which appears as No. 2 in the CSI-info series, is intended to serve as a bibliographic aid to researchers, resource managers, teachers, decision-makers and other stakeholders. A limited number of printed copies are available from:
