Caribbean: Planning for Adaptation to Global Climate Change Project (CPACC)

Abstract
The project entitled Caribbean Planning for Adaptation to Climate Change was initiated at the request of the small island developing states (SIDS) of the Caribbean at the SIDS conference in May 1994. The overall objective is to assist the countries to prepare to cope with the adverse effects of global climate change. The project has two main components: adaptation planning and capacity building. The project is scheduled to start early in 1997.
