Hilton from Dublanc Primary School represented Dominica at
the Meeting in Bequia |
During
her presentation she described Small Islands Voice activities
in Dominica and particularly some of the problems the schools
had been having with internet access, thereby making their involvement
in the Youth Internet Forum very difficult. She presented some
proposals for getting the different groups to work together and
also some ideas for getting students involved in education for
sustainable development through investigating the impact of farming,
fishing and quarrying on life in west-coast villages.
