Cuba
joins the Small Islands Voice Youth internet-based forum
Students from
Instituto Preuniversitario Vocacional de Ciencias Exactas Ernesto
Guevara, Santa Clara, Villa Clara, are actively taking part in
the third phase of the Small
Islands Voice internet-based youth forum (with user name view
and password only). Although access to the internet is
difficult for them, they can send and receive emails. So every
week the new items on the forum are sent to them by email, and
they in turn send in their responses by email and these are then
posted onto the forum. They write their responses in Spanish and
also translate them into English, and both language versions are
posted on the forum. The responses from Cuba have covered a variety
of subjects including an imaginary journey round Cuba, Cuban skill
in baseball, the gift of flowers and Cuban nature reserves.
