islands around the world
Since
2003, students from San Andres have been taking part in
this internet discussion with students from schools in
other islands around the world. Many of the schools do
not have internet access for their students, and so often
the students have to use the CORALINA office. They have
produced some very interesting articles and responses,
e.g. in 2003 a student
from CEMED School wrote a very interesting article
on preparing and cooking certain species of fish that
are usually rejected. (To access the article the username
is view and the password is only)
Efforts
are now underway in 2005 to involve students from the
islands of Old Providence and Santa Catalina. Here similar
problems relating to access to internet will arise.
