Islands Voice Global Forum
The Small
Islands Voice Global Internet Forum started in September 2002
with an article about road development in another Pacific island,
Palau. This forum provides an opportunity for members of the public
to take part in a global discussion on issues of concern to people
living in small islands and to learn how other islands are coping
with their problems. Fijians are participating frequently in this
forum on subjects ranging from solid
waste management to the export
of bottled water to the increase
in crime and violence in many islands. Besides being available
on the web, forum responses are sent out as an email to thousands
of addresses around the world. To take part in this forum, please
