Small
Islands Voice partners share experiences and learn about community
visioning in Moloka'i
On 3 August
2006, Small Islands Voice partners from Cook Islands, Maldives,
Mauritius, Palau, Puerto Rico, Samoa, and the San Andres Archipelago
visited Moloka'i by ferry to learn as much as they could in one
short day about community visioning in Moloka'i.
After sharing
ideas and concepts with Stacy Crivello, President of the Moloka'i
Enterprise Community (MEC); Abbey Mayer, Executive Director MEC;
Barbara Kalipi; William Akutagawa and Judy Mikami Native Hawaiian
Health Care System, the group visited some of the MEC's projects.
