PACIFIC - Cook Islands Activities

Computer equipment supplied to Cook Islands schools

Complete computer packages were supplied to:

Araura College, Aitutaki
Avarua School, Rarotonga
Nikao-Maori School, Rarotonga
Pukapuka School, Pukapuka

Additional computer equipment was supplied to:

Nukutere College, Rarotonga: a color printer and scanner
Omoka School, Penrhyn: a scanner
Takitumu School, Rarotonga: a monitor, keyboard and modem
Nikao-Maori School, Rarotonga: an additional monitor, keyboard and modem.

In additional all schools in the outer islands as well as some schools in Rarotonga received and had installed Encarta Encyclopedia 2003 on their computers.

Digital cameras were supplied to Mangaia and Mitiaro and a camera/tripod to Aitutaki.

The above equipment allows schools and communities throughout the Cook Islands to fully participate in the varied Small Islands Voice activities.
