are a total of 4 radio stations in Palau; two privately owned
(WWFM and KRFM), one Chinese-owned Christian religious broadcaster,
and one government (T8AA) station. While Palauan media outlets
are free to express views and opinions, government media must
also represent the government views. WWFM features a daily one-to-two
hour talk and call-in show.

Comments
95%
of Palau households have cable television through a fibre optic
network covering the major islands of the country (Koror, Babeldaob,
Peleliu). No local or regional television is broadcast in Palau.
Cable programming consists of six USA mainland channels broadcast
through videotape with a 6-day delay as well as real-time satellite
channels such as CNN, Cartoon Network, ESPN and others.
Island
Cable Television (ICTV), a division of PNCC and the only cable
provider in Palau, does include a teletext channel (channel 6)
featuring announcements, advertisements, etc. for which advertisers
pay $5 per screen per day with discounts for longer-term advertisements.
ICTV has the capacity to produce local videos on a contractual
basis.
