CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS

Youth must:

1. Be aged 15 - 21 years
   
   
2. Have knowledge of sustainable development
   
   
3. Have knowledge of issues related to education, training, employment, industry, health care, economics, culture, crime, human development, and environmental protection facing The Bahamas as a Small Island State
   
   
4. Be prepared to give input on the three themes specified
   
   
5. Have good behaviour
   
   
6. Be willing to speak in public
   
   
7. Have leadership qualities
   
   
8. Have the respect of their peers
   
   
9. Be able to work cooperatively
   
   
10. Be willing to share what was learned at the Forum with their peers
    
    
11. Be willing to make a positive difference
