Promotion of the HYDRIA educational programme "Collection storage & distribution of water in antiquity-linking ancient wisdom to modern needs".

Résumé

The objecitves of the project are:
- To demonstrate the wisdom of our ancestors, through their wise and respectful water management techniques.
- To raise awareness of the wider public and educate youth on water-related Mediterranean cultural heritage.
- To safeguard water remnants of the past, giving emphasis on sites that are less known or not enough valorised.
- To highlight the possible adaptation of water management systems used in the past to modern needs and realities, giving emphasis to environmental friendly applications.
- To promote intercultural dialogue among Mediterranean countries.
