Exhibition "Judaism - to know means to understand"

The project includes the cycle of lectures, along with workshops for young people and the educational exhibition. The purpose of this unique exhibition is to present many Jewish exhibits to a wider audience. The cycle will be additionally enriched with comments concerning Jewish culture and art. The lectures will be open not only for listeners or guides from Cracow, but also foreign guests, students, sympathizers and people searching for their roots will be welcomed.
The main assumption of this project is widely understood intercultural education, which aims at learning tolerance, accustoming with differences concerning cultural minorities, understanding them, as well as comprehending difficult Jewish heritage, especially in Polish culture. It will be an important voice in an international dialogue, which can be best exemplified by the topics being raised, such as:' Synagogue decoration versus church decoration', ' Jewish celebrations versus Christian celebrations. Similarities and differences.'
