Integrated Education of World Cultural Heritage

Résumé

This program is designed to educate primary school students about the importance of cultural diversity by presenting cultural heritage from around the world.
The class consists of lecture and activity, delivered by a non-Korean with the help of Korean volunteers. The lecture gives general information about world heritage, such as the definition, emblem, and inscription process, along with an introduction of different countries and the value of world cultural heritage. Students participate in creative activities, such as creating art work and games designed to encourage education, fun, and cooperation. This program raises awareness of different culture and provides guidelines for a multilateral approach to world cultural heritage education for youth in Korea.
