Rapprochement of Cultures based on Cultural Heritage : Spain - Dominican Republic


This project would take place in the Dominican Republic, at the request of the Associated Schools Project Coodinator in that country. And would consist of teaching seminars to the dominican teachers regarding Pedagogy of Heritage and visiting the schools of Santo Domingo and surroundings in order to conduct workshops with students which reflect the rapprochement of cultures through Heritage.
By showing the richness of the cultural, natural and inmaterial heritage of the locations where they live, but also the importance of knowing other cultures near and far, thus apart from the cultural enrichment they will be practicin a culture of peace.
We will show examples of the works and materials that the Associeted Spanish Schools are carrying out with this task, and we will invite them to show us their works and experiences.
We will also try to approach on our part to the rich cultural, natural and inmaterial heritage of this country.
