Résumé

Every year, the RPF invites young people from all countries to spend their winter and summer vacations in the International youth peace camps. Peace camps are organized in different regions of Russia. Every year the camps visit more than 1000 children from different countries of the world – Bulgaria, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Serbia, Lithuania, Romania, Finland, the USA, and others. Peace camp is a platform for implementing intercultural dialogue and mutual respect between people of different countries. In the period of work of peace camp young people can study their civil rights, essay their powers in different spheres of social activity, and develop their creativity and erudition.
In April 2009 the RPF presented a cultural and social project “River of talents” - is a cycle of charitable musical and educational programs for children and youth. Within the framework of the project the concerts given by talented young people from different countries and regions, were organized in different cities of Russia and more than 25 000 children of orphanages and boarding schools had an opportunity to watch them for free.

Hundreds of representatives of different nations and national minorities, including Lezghins, Armenians, Bulgarians, Tatars, Circassians, Arabs, Kazakhs took part in the discussion.
The Russian Peace Foundation is eager to continue the implementation of charitable programs, aimed at the elimination of racism and intolerance. Our mission is to promote peace and respect between people and we are eager to cooperate with UNESCO in achieving this goal.
