The "East meets West" project     

Résumé

UEA, the World Esperanto Association, already has a program "Oriento-Okcidento" (East-West) following a similar Unesco program about publishing important books of western and eastern cultures. Now we think of making this programm more general and have a general program with the items: - publishing of books from oriental cultures in Esperanto to make them available in the world; - Twinning of classes of learners of Esperanto in Europe, Asia and Africa, via Internet and Skype; - Active interchange of books and journals between European and Asian/African Espernato-speakers.
