Forum on Dialogue between civilizations


During the World Esperanto Congress in Havana, Cuba, in 2010 UEA will arrange a Forum: Dialogue between civilizations. The participants in the congress will be 2,000-3,000 and they will come from all the continents. The aim of the Forum will be to discuss the ways in which the world Esperanto-speaking community will use their communication channels in Esperanto to pass the main cultural values of their culture to people living in other civilizations.  
Stages: - making the theme a theme of the year 2010 by articles in the Esperanto press and in web pages in Esperanto - collecting representatives from many countries, who will attend the World Congress in Cuba - organizing the debates of the Forum in Havana - distributing the results to the world Esperanto-speaking community Human and financial resources: - Esperanto-speaking people acting on a voluntary basis - Budgetary funds from the normal UEA budget for the congress (e.g. to pay the travel costs of specially invited people)      Used tools: - meeting in presence in Habana - extended use of Internet commmunication facilities.
