Project "Many Cultures, one Passion"; Folk danse and song ensemble of Warsaw School of Economics

Résumé

The project "Many cultures, one passion"consists of two sequentially-dependent parts.
I.The first part- "Passion"includes the participation of a group of students from Folk Dance and Song Ensemble of Warsaw School of Economics in an international Folk Festival of Azores and workshops in Angra do Heroismo in Azores.Other groups come from:USA,Brazil,Argentina,Puerto Rico,Mexico,Sweden,Italy and many more.The island's central location makes it a great place to meet young people from all over the world-people who are ready to learn about other cultures and share their own history and traditions. In addition to many folk concerts, the organizers try to make an opportunities for intercultural dialogue during the festival. The group will be chosen from students from the best Polish University of Business.
II.The second part of the project -"MISSION" will take place in the autumn of 2010 and is addressed in particular to Warsaw student backgrounds, but also touches the community of Warsaw. Persons participating in the first part of the project as Global Ambassadors of Culture, conduct educational workshops, consisting of, inter alia, slideshow, learning dances and cultural debate. During this event will also be a premiere of reportage from the meeting of cultures in Angra do Heroismo. In addition to music from all over the world, you can also taste the local delicacies.
