Musical culture in the intercultural dialogue: “Young musical laureates”

The project concentrated on assistance in the orientation and integration of children and young people with emigrant background. Music helps to promote the cultural dialogue between the people and foster the intercultural understanding. We wanted more – give the opportunity to representatives of different cultures and ethical background to cooperate and get to know each other. As a result this project was a metaphor for understanding and tolerance for the young people.

The idea: encourage talents

The aim of the project was the promotion of the potential of young talented musicians. Gifted young musicians have much higher career opportunities if they acquire knowledge beyond their musical education. We wanted to prepare the young talented men and women to get an easier start into the market. Our wish was to create an environment in which children and young people can develop and improve their potential. One possible solution have been the expression through music, teaching them how to deal with competition and therefore being ambitious and achieving challenging aims.
