Regional Conference on “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slavic Peoples: Problems of Collecting, Preservation, Prospect of Complex Studying”

Organisers: the Belarus State University of Culture and the National Commission of Belarus for UNESCO
Experts from eight countries (Belarus, Moldova, Russia, the Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Poland) representing Ministries of Culture, universities and NGOs attended this conference.
The main objective of this conference was to discuss national safeguarding measures and regional cooperation in the light of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
