Training Workshop on cultural heritage for representatives of five Balkan States

Representatives from the Balkan states and Italy participated in the meeting. The third day of this workshop was fully dedicated to the safeguarding of intangible heritage.
Several relevant issues were raised during the debates. In particular, there was a keen interest among the participants to learn more about the definition and the safeguarding of intangible heritage, as their experience in the field of cultural heritage issues was mainly based on the classical approach to the conservation of monuments and sites.
