On the occasion of the 33d session of the UNESCO General Conference, the Director-General inaugurated the “Oman: Heritage and Civilization” exhibition, and pointed out “the Oman Centre for Traditional Music is internationally recognized for its rich archives and the quality of its collections as well as for the research and transcription work it undertakes”.
