Community members in Cabo Verde taking stock of their intangible cultural heritage

12 October 2015 – Following the workshop on the implementation of the 2003 Convention held last July in Praia, 17 community members and 13 culture officers gathered in Ribeira Grande de Santiago’s communities of Centro histórico, Salineiro and Calabaceira for training on community-based inventorying.

07 October 2015 – The agreement concerning the hosting of the tenth session Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was signed by the Government of the Republic of Namibia and UNESCO on Monday 5 October 2015 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
