Mozambique to develop a national strategy for the safeguarding of its living heritage

02 September 2014 – Following eight months of conducting a pilot inventory in the Province of Manica in Central Mozambique, the national institute for socio-cultural research, Arquivo do Património Cultural (ARPAC), in cooperation with UNESCO is organizing a closing workshop from 15 to 19 September 2014. Evaluator(s) needed for the assessment of the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region

27 August 2014 – UNESCO is seeking expressions of interest from one or more evaluators who could assess the performance of the International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (IRCI - Japan) with respect to its objectives and functions and its contribution to UNESCO’s strategic programme objectives and programme priorities and themes. The evaluator(s) will provide UNESCO with a review report presenting findings, conclusions and recommendations.
