Leve kulturarven! is a collection of essays on ICH issues in Norway, mainly with a practical perspective but also theoretically. A choice of major cultural organisations and institutions present different methodologies in their approach to safeguard intangible cultural heritage in accordance with UNESCOs 2003 Convention. The topics vary from social and religious practices to traditional craftmanship, from traditional dance to reflections upon food quality and taste. The book is aimed at stakeholders of ICH, NGOs, local and national authorities and is also published as a celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Convention. . As part of the release, a workshop is run to reflect upon and discuss the purpose of national inventories.
