Artículo 9 : Acreditación de las organizaciones de carácter consultivo
Upon recommendation of the Committee, the General Assembly is to accredit non-governmental organizations with recognized competence in the field of the intangible cultural heritage to act in an advisory capacity to the Committee.
At its third session, the General Assembly already accredited 97 NGOs. The General Assembly is now to decide on 59 below listed NGOs wishing to be accredited and which were recommended by the Committee in November 2010 (32 NGOs by Decision 5.COM 12) and November 2011 (27 NGOs by Decision 6.COM 19).
