Host institution: the Fondation Jean-Pierre Perreault is an internationally renowned creative institute in the field of dance founded in 1984 by the choreographer Jean-Pierre Perreault. It possesses a work space for choreographic creation and production, including two studios, inaugurated in March 2001. Nature of the bursary: round trip travel, accommodation in an individual apartment, monthly allowance of 2,000 Canadian dollars, contacts arranged with many leading figures in Quebec's professional cultural circles. Artist must provide their health insurance. Dates of the residency: autumn 2002 or winter 2003, to be agreed on mutually. Eligibility: professional dancer, choreographer or dancer-choreographer aged 25 to 40, from Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Slovakia or the former Yugoslavia.
