Illicit Trafficking and Restitution of Cultural Property

UNESCO Member States have demonstrated renewed interest regarding this issue in the face of thefts, looting, and illegal importation and exportation affecting archaeological sites, religious monuments, cultural institutions, museums and public and private collections around the world.
