17 May 2004 - 20 May 2004  UNESCO, in the framework of its Global Alliance for cultural diversity, and in collaboration with the Bulgarian National Commission for UNESCO, the Bulgarian stakeholders in the field of copyright and the international anti-piracy associations in the music and motion picture sectors, is organizing an Anti-piracy training for trainers seminar.

The Hague Convention: 50 Years of Protecting Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict
14 May 2004 - A commemorative symposium on the Fiftieth Anniversary of the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict will be held at UNESCO Headquarters on Friday, May 14 (9.30 a.m.- 6.45 p.m., Room X).

The film deals with the cultural heritage and the globalization stakes involving the conservation of the Angkor site and the choice of techniques and ideas: differences of conception depending on whether one is Cambodgian, Chinese, French, Japanese or Swiss.
