AIDS spares no one. UNESCO and its United Nations partners are adapting their control resources, through education and prevention, to the various cultural contexts. If it is to have any effect, the fight against the worldwide AIDS pandemic has to start out from people’s customs, traditions, beliefs, values and ways of life.
